"vepo makes cleaning an experience." This is the claim under which Swiss cleaning products manufacturer vepo is launching its latest advertising campaign, which will be broadcast on the Programmatic Advertising (PA) channels. Produced by youstream.
vepo is the official sponsor of the vepo Dance Camps, which are held by MS Sports in over 40 locations in all language regions of Switzerland. So it was obvious to combine cleaning and dancing in a funny campaign.
For the realization of these short video spots, vepo relied on a strong video marketing partner, who took up the existing idea, staged it in a gripping way and made it available for distribution. "youstream with Creative Director Rafael Gschwend quickly provided us with a first concrete story, which excited us right from the start," reports Regula von Huben, Managing Director of vepo. "It was important to us to use the campaign to address a new, young target group and to do so in various short messages-be it for our floor cleaner vepocleaner Wischpflege or our shower enclosure cleaner vepochrom Entkalker-Schaum."
"We already knew during story development that we wanted to get as much out of the shoot as possible despite a moderate budget, without sacrificing quality. Time-intensive preparation by everyone involved meant that we were able to shoot very efficiently and exactly according to plan" says Adrian Sandmeier, founder and CEO of youstream.
An intensive day of shooting at the Bonstetten sports center resulted in a total of 6 programmatic ad spots and an image film in short and long form.
Rafael Gschwend, who directed the film: "Developing a story like this is a lot of fun, but it's demanding. There are a lot of elements that have to be included. How do you bring the slogan of vepo (we make cleaning an experience) together with their sponsorship of the dance camps at mssports.ch with the aim of developing an entertaining story. Especially when it comes to cleaning, it is also important that no dusty clichés are served that "cleaning" is solely a woman's job. That's why the dance group was chosen to be very heterogeneous.
The professional actor Eylon Kindler stood in front of the camera as the caretaker, who was able to quickly convince vepo's clients in a youstream online casting. With his brilliant acting talent, he was able to inspire the whole team on location. The kids of the dance group tnt Lucerne, under the direction of Tony Tuan Nguyen, skillfully performed the dance scenes and embodied the joy of cleaning.vepo scouted out the location, provided the backdrop and catering and acted as troubleshooter, and the entire dance group was dressed by mssports.ch.
